Telc, Telc, Camping in stinky village. This is about two weeks into our bike trip, and of course things are starting to get a bit stinky, but nothing like the smell coming from the water at the campground at stinky village, where there is a super sulpfur smell to just about everything in the bathroom etc... Super Stinky...
Stinky Village Campground,
Michaela taking a rest stop for lunch. This was right before our crossing over to Slovak Republic. Our final destination for the day was Nove Mesto, Slovak. In total the day was a 77km Ride. Please notice the two pictures of plum trees. I found a way to pick, eat, and spit out pit of plum while staying on the bike and maintaining a decent speed... not bad eh.
Right after the plums was the biggest incline, and longest hill of our trip. In total, it took me nearly an hor to make it to the top of the hill before a nice long downhill into Slovak.
A sweaty Adam photo for everyone... Also, the hill started out with no trees and, but towards the top, the peak was in the middle of the forest, as you can see by the picture directly below in the middle. And then of course I had to take a bike shot once at the top of the hill. I drank pretty much my whole water bottle up there too.
Here is a photo of the entrance into Slovak, we had just showed our passports to the guards, took about three seconds, no stamp, no nothing actually. The picture below right is of the campground in Nove Mesto. Large campground on a lake which we swam in. Pretty nice and friendly place, a few pubs, and eating areas...
Below is a photo of Michaela just after getting off the train in Horni Stuba, Slovak. We made it up inbetween the Mala Fatra and sMala Fatra, and then went biking all the way down, took us two days and was definitely not all downhill. But tons of fun none the less. Some of the most beautiful photos of the trip were taken these next two days, (in my opinion).
Nice biking days, my favorite day on the bike so far. Ended up in Rozemburk, next to the river at a really nice Pension.
