These three photos below were taken when we reached the top of a nasty hill.  We were just into Šumavě on road 39 headed towards Horni Plana.  Michaela was a bit grumpy from the hill, as you can maybe see on her face, but that soon ended.  We had a nice downhill nearly all the way to our final stop for the day.  Some nice hills at the top complete with round hay stacks.

These three photos below were taken somewhere near Horní Planá.  A decent look at a typical lunch for us of bread from Pekarnaand maybe some cheese or salami.  By this time in the day, the yogurt that I drank everyday was long gone.  Also, you can see the lake Lipno.  On the other side, south side, is Austria.
Some more photos of our two day stay in Horní Planá.  We stayed at a great place called Hotel Belveder.  A super nice family runs the place, all were very nice and helpful.  Room was great too.  They have a great grill night on Fridays, do not miss it.  For some action, scroll over the picture of me on the far right...
When we left Horní Planá, we took the train back to Český Krumlov, and then biked from there towards Trhové Sviny.  We made a nice bathroom stop, and I took a bike picture, and then we ran into a wood cutter unloading his load onto a train in Besednice.  Pretty crazy to see how fast this guy was able to unload his truck, not his first time for sure.
Sometimes we would take a roadside bathroom break only to find some nice blackberry bushes right next door.  So of course if they looked good we would try our luck and pick a few.  Word to the wise, take a look at them to make sure they dont have a little worm walking around.  Once Michaela pointed some out to me I was less interested in blackberries for a while.
Michaela and I left Trhove Sviny pretty early in the morning, and it was interesting weather.  The first time we were riding through some fog.  It felt like riding up highway one in California, but we were down in Southern Czech instead.  We stopped at a small bus stop, Zastafka..., and rested for a few.
Below are some strange shots for sure.  We were strolling along towards Trebon and we came upon an exotic animal park.  Complete with tigers, lion, buffalo, snakes, apes, and best of all, when we both ordered instant coffee, it came complete with one fly apiece at the bottom.  We didnt realize the flies until after adding cream and stirring.  It was pretty funny, but enough to turn us away from drinking the stuff.  We told the young girl about the flies and she brought us out two new cups.  We checked pretty hard for flies, but there were none this time.  I almost thought the first two cups were setup with flies on purpose.  Strange place, strange coffee... interesting wild animals in cages in Czech...
Blueberry picking in Czech, you have to try it.  Michaela spotted some bushes, I had never seen them before.  They are under large trees in the forest, and when you start picking, its hard to stop.  With nobody around for miles, I swear you could pick these things until you were tired.  We stopped after about 30 minutes with quite a few berries.
I did not take any pictures from Trebon, where we stayed before Striimlov, but as you can see below, the roads were nice, lined with trees much of the time, and check out the map in back of Michaela.  We looked at those town maps almost everyday to get our bearings on where we were when entering each village.
