Dec. 14, 2007  The Jacob Fleming Christmas Party in Bratislava, Slovakia.  That is where I am working, and Slovakia is where the headquarters are at.  There are about 70 employees at that office, and five people from Prague were able to attend as well which was great since I was lucky enough to be part of it.  The party was more wild than I am used to, but not more than expected.  I was informed by Mike in my office that the Slovaks are very good at living it up, and it was true indeed.  Take a look at the photos and you will quickly realize what a Slovak Party is all about.

There is Natalia in the back left.
They do this thing where each person is called out infront of everyone else and given a wrapped present.  I received a nice candle bell type ornament.

Here are the two girls who go out to the actual conferences and entertain, I am sure the delegates are happy with that.  Even later in the night as my face is starting to show.

And the final picture of the night.
I would like to personally thank Jacob and Mr. Fleming for putting on such a great night in Bratislava.  Although I was a bit worried about how I would feel Saturday morning, it turns out that all went well, and I made a quick and speedy recovery.  My guess is that the one water per drink schedule I put myself on later in the was a major factor in the equation of the amount of time needed in morning before feeling normal again.  I hope some of the Slovak office gets on out to Praha soon to keep living it up.

Late,
Karl Willig
